Food Safety Policy and Goals
Fardem Packaging wants to guarantee the food safety of the products made by Fardem, in all desired cases. Human and animal health is always paramount. Besides, there is also an economic interest, since ever more customers set high demands with regard to products that are applied in the food industry and animal feed sector.
Through the documented COMBI-care system, Fardem Packaging intends to:
- avoid using raw materials that are not food safe in and on the film;
- be able to fully trace the origin of raw materials and production data;
- exclude unwanted migrations by carrying out simulation tests;;
- maintain and control order and tidiness in the workspace, in accordance with the recorded agreements;
- comply with the BRCGS Packaging Materials standard.
Fardem Packaging wants to supply and produce in compliance with a fully-fledged quality system. Because food- and pharma industry are becoming an ever more important part of our sales, the BRCGS Packaging Materials certification is an important standard. In these sectors, the BRCGS Packaging Materials quality system is used. Every year, this quality system is assessed by an external agency. The obtained certificate guarantees that production is carried out in a responsible way.
All the OPACKGROUP companies belong to EFTA Benelux. This is a trade association for companies that specialize in the flexographic printing process.
