OPACKGROUP is convinced that innovation with recyclable gas barrier packaging is a prerequisite for the realisation of a circular economy. That is why nylon (PA) and polypropylene (PP) are always used for packaging chips. The new multi-layer recyclable film from Fardem Packaging B.V. (OPACKGROUP) solves this problem without the addition of these polymers. The result is fully recyclable packaging with the right puncture resistance. Because only one polyolefin is used, customers can take full advantage of the discount based on Verpact&#8217;s rate differentiation. With this film, the company is ahead of the upcoming EU regulation on packaging and packaging waste (#PPWR), in which recyclability is an important element.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"hh-block block-row\"data-mb=\"small\">\n    <div class=\"block-row__row row block-row__row--align-stretch\">\n                \n\n<div class=\"hh-block block-column col col--1 col--lg-1\/1\">\n    \n<p class=\"hh-block block-paragraph block-paragraph--id-69d7a079927e8\">The jury has great respect for this commitment, which is why it has been awarded a prize, something we are naturally very proud of. Director of sister company Patrick Jansen: &#8220;This professional award is recognition for the developments we are making in the field of sustainable and recyclable packaging, of which this product is a very good example. Producing this high-quality film requires a lot of time, testing and application before you can realise this product together with external partners. The jury recognises several important trends in the entries, focused on improving the social value of products and solving bottlenecks. The focus of companies is clearly on the use of recycled or biobased raw materials, redesigning products to make them more recyclable, and chain collaboration.
